1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Wickliffe Public Library is proud to announce 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, Books Are Just Ducky! This program is designed to encourage and promote good reading habits that develop six early literacy skills.
Enroll your child, birth through age 5 and receive a reading packet for 100 books. After 100 books are read, turn in the packet, choose a rubber duck reward and repeat until you have read 1000 books! Upon completing 1000 books, your child's picture will be taken and a felt duck with your child's name will be placed on the I READ 1000 BOOKS banner.

Wickliffe Public Library Receives $10,000 Technology Award From SQR Solutions!
Wickliffe Public Library is pleased to announce they are the recipient of SQR Solutions' 2012 Ohio Public Library Techlift Award. The $10,000 prize is intended to enable a substantial change to a Children's Tech/Media center, and the contents of the prize will be used primarily by school-age and younger patrons.

Introducing a New Computer Just For Kids
More great things happening at your library! Wickliffe Public Library announces the acquisition of AWE's Early Literacy Station(ELS) with over 55 educational software titles for kids 2-8. It offers a safe stand alone computer not connected to the Internet that is age appropriate, engaging and academically relevant for children.

Download Music...Legally...Now From Anywhere!
The Wickliffe Public Library is proud to announce an update to the service allowing patrons to download up to three songs a week using Freegal. Simply enter your library card number, search the music catalog, and download! All you need is a PC and an internet connection. Kill A Watt Devices are Here!

Homebound Service
If you are elderly or disabled at home, either temporarily or permanently we can help. We will bring you books (regular, large print or paperback). Or if you prefer we can bring audio books. Movies are available in both DVD and videotape formats. Whether you prefer fiction or non-fiction we will try to fill your request. Just call the library to begin your service. There is no charge for this service.
